Painted Storage Jars

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Glass Colours – Water Based (An Age Group Above 18 Yrs may also use solvent based glass colours for better effects), Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Cone - White 707, A4 Sized White Paper, Pencil, Scissors, Glass Storage Jars

Description :

Enhance your plain looking glass jars, vases or storage jars into colourful artifacts. Outline the design of your choice on glass bases and colour them using glass colours.

STEP 1
Take glass jars on which you want to paint the design Clean the surface with tissue paper to avoid finger stains
STEP 2
You may directly draw the design on the glass jars using glass markers OR You may first draw the design on the paper in the size of the jars Cut the design from the paper and insert it inside the bottle for tracing
STEP 3
Draw or trace the outlines of the design using Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Cone - White Leave it to dry
STEP 4
Fill in the glass colours in the outlines in the colours of your choice While colouring its advisable to colour on the surface and let it dry For the surfaces which are round, you will have to colour small and thin patches so that the colour does not run.
