How to make rakhis from waste material..... A wonderful concept. Take this up as a challenge and have fun creating it with all your zest and fervour. Gift it to friends on rakshabandhan or make it for your own brother.


how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Origami Rakhi  - Step 1 | Hobbyideas

Take Hobby Ideas origami paper.

STEP 2:-

Follow the template and make the necessary origami folds to get the required triangular shape.

STEP 3:-

Refer to the above image.

STEP 4:-

Form swirls at the edges from the folded triangular piece to get the required shape as shown in the image.

STEP 5:-

Make 6 such swirly shapes from the floral paper and one from the plain paper.

STEP 6:-

Keep the plain paper form in the centre and surround it by sticking the printed paper forms using Fevicol MR.

STEP 7:-

Stick the ready flower on the satin ribbon or on the dial of the old wrist watch using Fevicol MR to complete the rakhi.

Hobby Ideas Origami Paper, Fevicol MR, Broad Satin Ribbon, Ornamental Stones, An Old Wrist Watch.
