Origami Chocolate Boxes

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Crimson 04, Light Green 12, White 27, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Glitter Gold 401, Decorative Cord, Single Punch, Paper Cutter, OHP Sheet, Ruler, Paper, Pencil,OHP Marker, Wooden Bead

Description :

Rakhi decorations in the form of chocolate boxes a whole new way of presenting your yummy sweets in. A lovely origami craft that can be learnt and made into so many unique things like this chocolate box that can double up and can be made of use for so many other lovely things. Fill them with chocolates, sweets and all your love and gift it to someone special.

STEP 1
Take a drawing for an origami pyramid template, place an OHP sheet on it and trace the diagram using a fin tip OHP marker
STEP 2
Cut the diagram from the OHP sheet as per the outlines and make folds at required areas.
STEP 3
Outline the individual shapes on the OHP pyramid template sheet using Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Pearl Metallic - Gold 35 and Glitter Gold 401 and make random patterns to fill the areas on the inner side.

Sponge dab the entire inner surface using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Crimson 04, Light Green 12, and mix White 27 & Deep Brilliant Purple 64 to get a shade of purple for the third piece. Leave it to dry.

Cut the extra edges of the template using a paper cutter.
STEP 9
Punch holes using a single punch on the corners of the triangles for fastening the loop. Refer to the image.
STEP 10
Pass individual decorative threads through each punched hole for all the boxes and string a wooden bead through all the 4 threads for tightening the thread so that the boxes close properly.
