Use your old denim to make your own personalised notepad pouch.

how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

 Notepad Pouch - Step 1 | Hobbyideas

Take a piece of denim fabric. For making the notepad pouch, draw a 24” X 9” sized rectangle by leaving a half an inch for sticking from all the sides. Cut the flap of the pouch on the top side. Refer to the image.

STEP 2:-

Take 5” x 5” sized white paper and draw 2 figures from the art form of Kolkatta. Trace the same on a 5” x 5” sized piece of leather with red carbon paper.

STEP 3:-

Paint the figures using Fevicryl Fabric
Colours – Burnt Sienna, Black, Crimson, Olive Green, Prussian Blue, Ultramarine Blue, White and Flesh Tint, respectively. Refer to the image.

STEP 4:-

Stick the painted piece of leather on the denim pouch using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

STEP 5:-

 Notepad Pouch - Step 5 | Hobbyideas

Make the design of the flowers and leaves with kantha stitch using Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery - Red and White around the leather patch. Stick the velcro on the flap of the pouch using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

Fevicryl Fabric Colours - Burnt Sienna, Black, Crimson, Olive Green, Prussian Blue, Ultramarine Blue, White, Flesh Tint, Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery - Red, White, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, A4 Sized White Paper, 24” X 9” Sized Denim Fabric, Piece Of Leather, Wooden Button, Water Container, Ruler, Pencil, Red Carbon Paper, Scissors.
