Clean the wooden mural cutout.
Plan your design.
Working on one section at a time, apply a thin coat of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the selected section of the mural.
Before the glue dries spread a layer of Fevicryl Terracotta Primer on it.
Immediately form textures in it using a toothpick, paper cutter, back tip of the brush or by simply tapping with finger.
Follow similar procedure on other sections.
You may press in small pebbles or marble chips in selected areas.
Follow similar procedure (step 2) on the centre top oval cutting and press in the Ganesha statue on it.
Leave to dry completely.
Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.
Take shilpkar dough and roll it in thin long coil.
Take two coils together and twist both with each other to get a twisted coil.
Stick the twisted coil on textured piece.
You may make different shapes from shilpkar dough like- twisted ribbon, border etc and stick them on different textured parts of the mural. Refer picture.
Leave to harden.
Paint the mural completely using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black (you may or may not paint the Ganesha Statue). Leave to dry.
Sponge dab different parts of the mural using gradation of colour tone with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- White, Orange, Ultramarine Blue, Dark Green, Magenta, Lemon Yellow. Refer picture.
Leave to dry.
Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
Leave to dry.
