STEP 1 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
- We are going to make the wall décor using Mouldit coils by adding the acrylic colours in it.
- Take A4 white papers, draw two different designs with owl on it.
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Mix the colour in the dough
- Take the dough and add Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01 in it. Mix the colour well in the dough.
STEP 3 : Make the coils
- Take the dough, roll it to make the coils out of it using little amount of Fabric Glue in between. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Make the slab
- Place the OHP sheet on the design and follow the design by sticking the coils in continuous manner using little amount of Fabric Glue in between.
- We have tried to give the effect of famous painting ‘The Starry Night’ with coil work.
- Let it dry.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Mould the owl
- Take some clay roll it to make a medium thick slab with a rolling pin. Mark and cut the owl shape out of the slab.
- Border the owl slab with the coil using Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
- Use clay carving tools to make the details on the owl.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 6 : Make the design with coil work
- Similarly make the other design too with coil work.
- Stick the owls aesthetically on the slab design using Fabric Glue.
- Take some coils and create the design to depict the wings of the owls as well as the leaves on the branches using Fabric Glue for sticking.
- Pierce the holes on the top and bottom of the slab further to attach the woolen thread.

STEP 7 : Make the beads
- Take some dough to make the beads out of it.
- Pierce the holes to the beads.
STEP 8 : Paint the slabs
- Paint the coil design slabs with dry strokes of Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Dark Brown 05 and Black 02.
- Let it dry.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 9 : Assembly
- Paint the eyes of the owls with Acrylic Colour Black 02 and White 27.
- Let it dry.
- Take the natural twig, the dark brown wool, Mouldit beads and dark brown woolen tassels.
- Attach the coil work design slabs with owl to the twig and tassels at the bottom, aesthetically.
- Your Mouldit coil design with owl, décor for wall is ready.
