Mouldit Disk Tealite Holder
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Mouldit, , Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Small Patel Shape Cookie Cutter/ Paper Cutter, Rolling Pin, Pencil, Clay Carving tools, Scissors, Ornamental Stones (White), Jute String, tooth pick, colour palette, Water Container.

How cool is this Diwali DIY! And trust us this can be made in a jiffy, all you need is your supply of Fevicryl products and wee bit of creativity. So lets get started with this disk tealight holder.
STEP 1 : Mix Mouldit
- We are going to make the tealite holder with carved design Mouldit disks, decorated it with ornamental stones.
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
- You will need 4 Mouldit.
STEP 2 : Roll the dough
- Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thick slab with rolling pin.
STEP 3
- Mark and cut 6 disks measuring approximately 4” diameter.
- Mark and cut the floral design of the petals using Small Patel Shape Cookie Cutter or you can use clay carving tools also from the clay disks starting from the centre towards the outer side edge.
- Refer to the image.
- Take the ornamental stones and embed it in the clay disk aesthetically.
- Let it dry completely.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Make tealight holders
- Take some clay to make the tealite holders. Take the tooth pick and insert in each tealite holder base.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Assembly
- Attach the tealite holders in between the disks using little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
- Paint these tealite holders, the inner side of the petals and the centre of the disk with antique gold effect with Acrylic Colour Black 02 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
- Let it dry completely.
- Take the jute string and attach the tealite holder from the rear side with little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
- Paint the string also with antique gold effect with Acrylic Colour Black 02 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 6 : Final look
- Your tealite holder with carved design disk and lights will look like this.
