You Will Need:
Fevicol Power Glue, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Canvas Stickers, Lace Deco, Grey Lace Border, Yellow Lace Border, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Sunflower Kit, Flesh Tint 30, Deep brilliant purple 64, Fine Art Stretched Canvas, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Artistry Inks – Black Water Proof Ink Pad , Prima Doll Stamp, Patterned Paper, Mulberry Flowers, Newspapers, Two Way Foam Tape
Description :
This mixed media photoframe is made on canvas and is decorated with colours, papers, stickers, stencils and stamps. This photoframe makes a wonderful craft project that you can make for your home or gift it to your loved ones, it's sure to keep your happy memories alive.
STEP 1
Take a stretched canvas
Draw a rectangle in the centre of the canvas. This rectangle is the place where you will stick the photograph
Tear uneven strips of newspapers
Arrange and stick the strips of newspapers using Fevicol Power Glue
STEP 2
Outline the rectangle using a thick layer of Fabric Glue
Draw brick pattern unevenly around the rectangle using Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry completely
STEP 3
Paint the entire canvas using the water shading technique. Colours used are Acrylic Colours - Light Green, Lemon Yellow, Prussian Blue from the Sunflower Kit and Deep Brilliant Purple
Leave it to dry
STEP 4
Arrange and stick the lace borders, lace deco, embellishments, mulberry flowers, canvas stickers and prima doll or any other stamped image to decorate it further
STEP 5
The relief prima dolls in the mixed media photoframe are made in 3 to 4 layers to create a 3D effect.
Take white paper and stamp the primal dolls twice to create two layers
Colour the body in Flesh Tint Colour and leave it to dry
Cut out the bodies and stick them exactly one on top of the other using a 2 way foam tape
Stamp and cut out the dress of the doll from the printed papers of your choice
You may create a dress for the doll in one or two layers
Assemble all the layers to make a 3D (relief ) prima doll
