Description :
Make a mixed media photo frame using chipboard elements, floral embellishments and Acrylic colours.
STEP 1
Use a plain photo frame to make your mixed media project. I have used a chipboard frame.
STEP 2
Apply a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White to the frame. Allow this to dry.
STEP 3
Using a stencil, sponge dab Fevicryl Acrylic paint of your choice onto the frame. I have used Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna for this step. Allow this to dry.
STEP 4
Use Fevicol to stick the floral embellishments on one side of the frame. You can either punch colour papers to make your own flowers or even choose to use readily available floral embellishments.
STEP 5
Paint an MDF cut out of your choice. I have painted this beautiful water can using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Lemon Yellow, followed by Fevicryl 3D cone outliners: Red, Orange, Green and Blue for the detailing. Allow this to dry.
STEP 6
Stick the MDF cut out on the other side of the frame.
STEP 7
You can add to the detailing using Fevicryl 3D outliner cones of your choice.
