Upload Your Own CreationsThese beautiful festive bells and cherries add to the fervour of the christmas season by using them as Xmas tree decorations. They can be simply hung to add that zing and splendour of the season.
Take 5mm thick quilling strips in four colours, 2 shades of red, white and green
To make the bells use red and white coloured strips Join the strips at their ends using Fevicol MR You will need about 12 to 15 strips to make one bell
Roll the strips into tight quills
You may use uneven numbers of these strips to create red and white concentric circles of different thicknesses
Roll the green coloured strip into a tight quill to make the leaves
You may join 1 and 1/2 strip or 2 strips to make the leaves in different thicknesses
Push all the tight rolled quills from the centre into a conical shape for the bells
Similarly, shape the green tight quills into cones for the leaves
The cherries are made rolling the red coloured strips into tight quills
Place them into a quilling mould according to their appropriate sizes to shape it into a dome shape
You will need 2 same sized quilled rolls to join together to make a cherry
String the bells in the green coloured thread with a small bell at one end
You may use a needle for stringing them
String the cherries as well
String the leaves too
Tie one bell, one cherry and two leaves together to form a bunch
Take 3 to 4 such bunches to make a dangler
