Description :

Using 3D outliners on fabric to mimic embroidery stitches for wall hoops adds a tactile charm, blending classic techniques with contemporary flair. These raised lines create a captivating visual and textural effect, perfect for enhancing any room's decor.

STEP 1 : Prepare the Drawing
  • Draw an 8” diameter circle on A3 white paper. Draw the design with an owl inspired by Japanese shashiko embroidery.
STEP 2 : Procure the Base and Trace the Design
  • Cut the poplin fabric to the required size. Trace the owl design onto the fabric using yellow carbon paper.
STEP 3 : Paint the design
  • Create two more designs with a chayote and a frog. Paint the designs by replicating embroidery stitches using Fevicryl 3D Outliners: Black 708, Neon Green 710, Neon Orange 711, and Neon Pink 712. Allow them to dry.
STEP 4 : Paint the rings
  • Paint the embroidery rings with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours: Neon Green 012, Neon Orange 017, and Neon Pink 018. Let them dry.
STEP 5 : Finishing touches
  • Cut the fabric to fit the size of the ring, leaving an extra 1” on all sides. Fold the extra fabric on the rear side of the ring and secure the ends with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Final look
  • Admire your finished embroidery rings with designs.
