Choose a nice bright colour of your choice, we have taken a red card paper and have drawn a box template that would be an extension to the card. The box would measure 21” x 10” in size.
Now follow the template and cut along the outlines.
Since the box and card would have the typical kirigami effect choose an appropriate pattern. We have chosen a floral pattern for this.
Now cut out the floral design with a sharp paper cutter and what you will get is a beautiful cutwork pattern.
Start sticking the marked outlines appropriately with Fevicol MR and leave it to dry and take shape. The box attached to the card is ready and would look like this.
It's time now to enhance and beautify the card and box, use Glitter Gold 401 and outline the pattern and leave it to dry.
We need a backing for the card so that the kirigami effect is highlighted. For that take a bright neon shade of paper the same size as that of the card and stick it from the rear side of the card with Fevicol MR.
Here is how your X'mas card with a chocolate box would look. Is it not pretty to gift it to someone this festive season. Fill in the boxes with candies and chocolates and bring in the festivities and joy for one and all.
