You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Sap Green 21, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Fine Art Brushes, Canvas board 15” x 18” inches, Colour Palette, Water Container, Pencil, A3 Sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper

Description :

This canvas painting is inspired by the traditional Kerala mural paintings of India. This painting is coloured using Acrylic Colours in the traditional style and technique of the typical Kerala Mural Paintings.

STEP 1
Take a stretched canvas Draw a Kerala horse mural design on an A3 sized white paper Trace the design on the canvas using yelllow carbon paper You may draw the design directly on the canvas
STEP 2
Take Acrylic Colours - Ultramarine Blue 23 and White to paint the clouds The clouds are painted by sponge dabbing the colours in a gradation Leave it to dry Outline the clouds using Acrylic Colour - Black
STEP 3
The horse is painted using Crimson, Golden Yellow and a shade of pink made by mixing Crimson and White Leave it to dry Outline the horse and the design using Acrylic Colour - Black The ground is painted using Burnt Sienna in a shading effect Paint the flowers, leaves and the grass using Acrylic Colours - Crimson and Sap Green in a shading effect Leave it to dry
STEP 4
Frame the stretched canvas that can be now mounted on the wall
