how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Clean the wooden jarokha.
Plan and draw the design on the wooden jarokha.

STEP 2:-

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.

STEP 3:-

Apply Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue and spread Shilpkar dough in that area. Shape it as required and texture using paper cutter, ball point refill, etc. Refer picture.
Work part by part.

STEP 4:-

Take Shilpkar dough and roll it in thin long coil and make swastika symbol and stick.
Take two coils and twist them with each other to get a twisted coil.
Stick the twisted coil on the jarokha using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
Leave to harden.

STEP 5:-

Paint the jarokha using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- - Burnt Sienna, Black, Chrome Yellow, Crimson, Dark Brown, Orange and Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold. Refer picture.
Leave to dry.

STEP 6:-

Stick the Ganesha statue using little Shilpkar dough and Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
Leave to dry.

STEP 7:-

Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
Leave to dry.

Wooden Jarokha frame, Talcum powder, Paper cutter, Ball point refill, Golden thread, Pencil, 2 bells, Ganesha Statue.
