Honey Comb Apple Card - Craft Ideas For Adults
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Fevicol MR, Fine Art Brushes, Hobby Ideas Artistry Ink - Rosy Cheeks, Crepe Papers, Pencil, Scissors, A3 Sized Beige Card Paper, A4 Sized White Paper, Ruler, Water Container, Colour Palette.
Description :
A card such as this is an easy handmade craft idea that can be made as it has a very different and interesting technique to it.STEP 1
This project is an interesting DIY craft for adults, use this craft technique to make various other innovative things.
Take red crepe papers.
STEP 2
Cut the papers into circles measuring 2 ½ " inches radius .
Cut about 18 circles out of it.
STEP 3
Take an A4 sized white paper.
Draw and mark vertical lines in the centre of the paper.
Make sure that you keep a 1" inch gap between two lines.
Write the numbers starting from 1 to 5 on the top side of each line.
STEP 4
Take the cut circles and place it on the vertical lines.
Mark the odd numbers like 1,3 and 5 with Fevicol MR.
Place another circle on the top of it.
Refer to the image.
STEP 5
Now you have to mark the even numbers like 2,and 4 with Fevicol MR.
Place another coloured paper that is blue on the top side of it.
Refer to the image.
Leave it dry.
Repeat the same process again following odd and even numbers with all the circles.

STEP 6
You will get the honey comb shaped ball.
Refer to the image.
Take Hobby Ideas A3 sized beige card paper.
Fold the paper in the centre to make a card.
Take the honey comb shaped ball and stick it inside the card in the centre.
Also stick the ends of the ball using Fevicol MR so that when you open the card the honey comb shaped ball will open up.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 7
Draw the stem and leaves above the honey comb to depict an apple as well as draw a boy holding the honey comb apple on his head.
Paint the inner side of the card with a shade of red using Artistry Ink - Rosy Cheeks.
STEP 8
Paint the stem and leaves of the apple with Acrylic Colour Light Green 12 and the boy using Black 02, Burnt Sienna 01, White 27 and Cerulean Blue 32.
Write and paint a message “YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYES” with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04 and Light Green 12.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 9
Draw and paint few apples randomly on the front and the rear side of the card using Acrylic Colour Crimson 04 and Light Green 12.
Leave it to dry.
