When you love nature you truly love! This Valentine’s Day celebrate nature love with this cute leaf heart made using clay modelling technique and Fevicryl Mouldit.

how to do it yourself

STEP 1:- Mixing the clay

• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener. Mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

STEP 2:- Roll the dough

• Take the dough; roll it to make a medium thin slab with a rolling pin.
• Let it get semi dry.

STEP 3:- Making a leaf impression

• Take a leaf in shape of a heart; take the impression on the slab by pressing it evenly.

STEP 4:- Cutting the shape

• Cut the excess clay around the leaf shape with a paper cutter.
• Take the jewellery attachment and pierce at the top of the heart.
• Leave it to dry completely.

STEP 5:- Making flowers

• Take some dough to make small rose flowers. Make about 20 to 25 such flowers.
• Leave it to dry completely.

STEP 6:- Painting the leaf heart and roses

• Paint the leaf print heart and the roses with Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Golden Yellow 09, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Sap Green 21, White 27, Leaf Green 62, Neon Yellow 011, Neon Green 012 and Neon Orange 017.
• Let it dry.

STEP 7:- Assembly of the pendant

• Stick the roses on the leaf print heart with Fabric Glue.
• Let it dry completely.

STEP 8:- Stringing the pendant

• Take the green cord. Pass the thread through colourful beads and the clay pendant. Refer to the image.
• Secure the ends of the thread with the knot.
• Apply 2 to 3 coats of modge podge gloss on the flowers to protect the colour. Leave it to dry.
