Glass Bowl Lady Bug

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Shilpkar, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Black 02 , Fevicryl Glass Colours Water Based, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette . Water Container, Talcum Powder, Transparent Glass Bowl

Description :

This up cycled glass bowl lady bug can be used as a table top decoration or as a paper weight. It would make a nice gift for your mom or dad to keep it on their work table

STEP 1
Take a medium sized glass bowl. Clean it properly and place it inverted on the work surface
STEP 2
Take Shilpkar and mix the resin base and hardener thoroughly to make an even white dough Leave the dough open for 5 minutes Roll the dough into medium coils of about 5mm thick Stick the coil on the open edge of the bowl and in the centre as shown in the image
STEP 3
Make small balls of Shilpkar dough and pinch them in your fingers to make flat disks Stick them on the sides and in the centre of the base of the bowl for the dots on the beetle's body
STEP 4
Roll a thick coil in an oval shape for the face of the beetle and small balls of clay for the eyes Stick the face and the eyes on the bowl
STEP 5
Colour all the parts modeled in Shilpkar in Acrylic Colour - Black Leave it to dry
STEP 6
Colour the bowl in Water Based - Glass Colour - Red Apply a thin coat of colour so as to avoid the colour from running down too much Leave it to dry
