Creative Aarti plate to be used during religious rituals.


how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Draw or trace the design on the white cotton fabric.

STEP 2:-

Paint the design using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours- Crimson, Prussian Blue, Dark Green, Orange, White and outline with Black.
Paint the plate using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Chrome Yellow.
Leave to dry.

STEP 3:-

Cut the painted design from the fabric and stick it on the centre of the painted plate using Fevicryl No-Stitch Fabric Glue.
Paint the border of the design using Fevicryl 3D Outliner Non-Sticky Glitter- Gold. Leave to dry.

STEP 4:-

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.

STEP 5:-

To make border design on the plate, take Shilpkar dough and roll it in thin long coil. Stick the coil in a zig-zag pattern on the border of the plate using Fevicryl No-Stitch Fabric Glue. Refer picture. Leave to harden.
Paint the zig-zag border using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black.

STEP 6:-

Decorate the aarti plate with decorative sequences and stones. Stick them using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
