Funky Photoframes

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Green 06, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Prussian Blue 19, white 27, Sky Blue 63, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Recycled Corrugated Box, Water Container, Colour Palette, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Ruler, Googly Eyes, Yellow Coloured Pipe Cleaners, Pom- Poms (Yellow and Blue)

Who could imagine by merely looking at these photoframes that they are made with recycled corrugated boxes. An ideal project that relies on waste to make craft projects that can be of utility like this photoframe. Similarly, make various other articles with corrugated boxes and the ideas are galore to get creative and make a surprise gift for that someone special.
STEP 1
Take two flaps of a corrugated box to make funky photoframes. Draw the outline of an elephant and a snail on it. The approximate sizes of the frames are 10” x 10”.
STEP 2
Cut along the outlines of the frame. Cut the inner side window of the frames by leaving a 1” border from all the sides. You have to cut two such shapes of an elephant and a snail. One is with the inner window and the other is without the inner window further for sandwiching the photographs. Refer to the image.
STEP 3
Paint the elephant shaped frame in a shade of teal blue made by mixing Acrylic Colours - Dark Green 06, Prussian Blue 19 and a little White 27 and the snail shaped frame with Chrome Yellow 03. Let it dry.
STEP 4
Paint few concentric circles on the elephant frame with Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03, Light Green 12 and Orange 17, and few water bubbles on the snail frame using Prussian Blue 19, White 27 and Sky Blue 63. Let it dry.
STEP 5
Stick the two parts of both the frames back to back by leaving some gap to insert the photograph from the upper side with Fabric Glue. Take the yellow pipe cleaners and stick yellow-blue coloured pom-poms on the edges with Fabric Glue to make the antennas for the snail. Stick the antennas of the snail from the rear side of the frame with Fabric Glue. Enhance the frames by sticking the googly eyes with Fabric Glue. Stick the hook from the rear of the frames with Fabric Glue.
