Fridge magnets

Make some quirky and colourful fridge magnets for this holi and gift them to friends and family in a jiffy.

how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Fridge magnets - Step 1 | Hobbyideas

Take Shilpkar resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
Divide it into 4 equal portions.

STEP 2:-

Fridge magnets - Step 2 | Hobbyideas

Take one portion of the dough and roll it out.
Using a bottle cap cut out a circle from the dough.

STEP 3:-

Now cut it into half to get two semi circles.
Roll the remaining dough in a strip.
Intertwine two strips as shown in the image.

STEP 4:-

Attach the strip to the curved edge of the semi-circle.
Cut extra from both the ends.
Leave it to dry.

STEP 5:-

Similarly mould Shilpkar to make a pichkari, a badge, and a bhaang glass.
Leave them to dry.

STEP 6:-

Paint the magnets with Fevicryl Acrylic colours White 27, Greenery 67, Chrome Yellow 03, Sap Green 21, Cerulean Blue 32, Black 02, Crimson 04, Teal Blue 68, Orange 17 and Burnt Sienna 01.
Leave them to dry.

Fevicryl Shilpkar, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours – White 27, Greenery 67, Chrome Yellow 03, Sap Green 21, Cerulean Blue 32, Black 02, Crimson 04, Teal Blue 68, Orange 17, Burnt Sienna 01, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Magnets, OHP Sheet, Fine Art Brushes, Water Container, Palette, Talcum Powder, Clay modelling tools.
