how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Take newspaper and tear it into thin strips.

STEP 2:-

Take a bowl full of water and mix Fevicol MR. To make a watery glue solution.

STEP 3:-

Take a medium sized plastic ball and drill a small hook for hanging

STEP 4:-

Dip the paper strips in the glue solution and paste the strips on the ball one by one to cover the entire surface of the ball.Leave it to dry.

STEP 5:-

You may create 2/3 layers of paper on the ball for an even look.Leave it to dry.

STEP 6:-

Apply a layer of Acrylic colour White. Apply 2 coats to give an even look.

STEP 7:-

Draw a marigold flower from the opposite side of the hook attached and little off centre covering the whole area with the petals

STEP 8:-

Paint the petals in shading effect using Acrylic colours Crimson, Golden Yellow and Orange.

STEP 9:-

Stick ornamental stones in the central part of the flower with Fevicol MR.Paint the white gaps in between the petals with Acrylic colour Crimson.

STEP 10:-

Outline the petals with dots made by using 3D Cone Outliner Red. Leave it to dry.

STEP 11:-

Thread the string in the hook for hanging.

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17 White 27, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Red 701, Fevicol MR Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Water Container, Bowl, Plastic Ball, News Papers, A Small Hook, String, Ornamental Stones
