STEP 1
To make the rakhi tray, take two different colours of felt fabric. We have used orange and yellow here.
STEP 2
Make two varying sizes of flowers on each of the felt fabrics.
STEP 3
STEP 4
Cut each of the flowers with a pair of scissors.
STEP 5
Cut a slit along one side of the flower, so as to cut out one entire petal, do this for both the flowers.
STEP 6
Stick the ends of the cut petals in a slight overlapping manner, for the flower to come up in a relief form using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
STEP 7
Place the smaller flower on the bigger flower and paste them from the centre area using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
STEP 8
Stick white ornamental stones on the edges of the flowers with Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
STEP 9
Take a cane lace and enhance the cane handle by embellishing it with silver lace and ornamental stones using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
STEP 10
To make the base for the rakhi tray, cut out a ring from the tissue roll cardboard. Wind and stick the silver lace using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry.
STEP 11
Finally stick the ring base below the rakhi holder for balance.
STEP 12
Stick the handle to the tray starting from the ring made for the base from one side to the other side forming a big loop using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
