Fanfolded Backdrop For Ganesha

You Will Need:

Fevicol MR, Slotted Quilling Tool, 5mm Quilling Strips , Scissors, 2 Sheets Of Full Imperial Sized Green Card Paper, A4 Sized Red And Yellow Card Papers, Golden Ribbon, Green Duplex Paper

Description :

A simple yet beautiful idea of making a backdrop with a big sized paper fan decorated with lovely roses and twirled quilling strips. This paper decoration is quick to make, is ecofriendly and recyclable.

STEP 1
Take 2 sheets of full imperial sized green card paper and make fan-folds
STEP 2
Join the two fan folded papers with Fevicol MR Gather all the folds on one end to make a fan and tie it using a golden ribbon
STEP 3
Take the A4 sized red and yellow card papers and cut different sized squares Round off the edges of the squares Cut the squares spirally from the edge to the centre
STEP 4
Quill the squares with the quilling tool and stick the free ends with Fevicol MR You will need about 55 to 60 roses in small and big sizes
STEP 5
The rose will look like this once it's completed
STEP 6
Take 5mm green coloured strips and quill a few curvilinear shapes You can make these curvilinear shapes by making loose quills
STEP 7
Take green duplex paper or crepe paper and cut different sizes of leaves
STEP 8
Arrange and stick all these flowers, leaves and curvilinear shapes with Fevicol MR as shown in the picture.
STEP 9
The fan will look like this once all the roses are arranged and stuck
