Dumbo The Elephant

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Crimson 04, White 27, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, : Colour Palette, Water Container, 2 Big Sized Plastic Pet Bottles, A4 Sized White Card Paper, Pencil, Googly Eyes, Scissors

This cute and irresistible baby elephant is something children are going to love making. It's made with a plain plastic bottle it's that basic. They can colour the elephant and make patterns on it for fun and to their fancy. Just let their creative juices be explored and let them all the fun making their own “Dumbo the Elephant”.
STEP 1
Take 2 recycled big sized plastic bottles. Cut the two bottles into half with a pair of scissors. Take the bottom sides of the bottle to make the elephant shaped candy holder. Paint the bottles in a shade of grey made by mixing Acrylic Colours - Black 02 and White 27. Leave it to dry.
STEP 2
Take an A4 sized white card paper. Draw the big ears and the trunk of the elephant on it.
STEP 3
Paint the ears and the trunk using Acrylic Colours - Black 02, White 27 and Crimson 04, Leave it to dry.
STEP 4
Cut along the outlines of the ears and the trunk by leaving 1/2 cm border further to stick on the bottle. Your bottle container for candies will look like this at this stage. Refer to the image.
STEP 5
Stick the ears, trunk and the googly eyes appropriately on the bottle using Fabric Glue. Enhance the base of the pet bottle to depict legs along with the nails using Acrylic Colour - White 27. Your elephant candy holder is ready.
