Festivals are an occasion of enjoyment and celebration. It brings gaiety and mirth that strengthen our bond of relationship. This simple personalized handmade card beautifully made using different colours and glitters will make the occasion memorable.

how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Take an A3 sized white card paper
Draw and cut a 16" x 8" sized rectangle from the paper, fold the rectangle from the centre to make a card

STEP 2:-

Take colourful quilling strips of your choice
Quill the strips using a slotted quilling tool to form loose coils and stick the end of the strips using Fevicol MR.
Make about 4 loose coils.
You may join two paper strips of two different colours
Shape the coils to make 2 big triangles and 2 rectangles

STEP 3:-

Stick the quilled triangles and rectangles in such a way so that it forms a lantern. Stick it on the card slightly off centred using Fevicol MR
Take few quilling strips to make the tails of the lantern and stick them towards the bottom side of the lantern with Fevicol MR
Enhance and decorate the card by sticking few sequins bordering the lantern and some randomly on the card using Fevicol MR.

Fevicol MR, Slotted Quilling Tool, 5mm Multicoloured Quilling Strips, A3 Sized White Card Paper, Colourful Quilling Strips, Quilling Tool, Sequins, Scissors, Ruler, Pencil
