Here’s how you can decoupage a mirror using the Adult Coloring books from Hobby Ideas.
STEP 1
Select your favorite design from the Adult Coloring book by Hobby Ideas and paint it using your choice of colors from the Fevicryl Sunflower Kit. I have selected a design from the “Traditional Art Forms- Adult Coloring Book”. The design takes inspiration from the Kashmiri Art Form which is a Traditional Art Form of India. I have used Fevicryl Acrylic colors: Orange, Crimson, Sap Green and White to paint the design sheet.
STEP 2
Once the paint has dried, turn over the colored sheet and sketch the outline of the mirror by using it as a reference.
STEP 3
Cut the sheet along the outline drawn in the previous step.
STEP 4
Use Fevicol to neatly paste the cut-out of the colored sheet onto the wooden mirror base.
STEP 5
Neatly sand the edges using Emery paper.
STEP 6
Use any Fevicryl Colour that goes well with your design to paint the edge of the mirror. I have used Fevicryl Acrylic colour-orange.
STEP 7
Use Fevicryl 3D outliner cones of your choice to enhance the design by working on the outline of the entire design. I have used Fevicryl 3D outliners: Glitter Green and Orange to work on the outlines of the design.
STEP 8
You can further enhance the beauty of the mirror by using crystals and other embellishments. These can be stuck using Fevicol. Once Dry, You can apply a coat of Modge Podge onto the entire surface of the Mirror. This can be followed by a coat of varnish.
