how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Wash and dry the pot.

STEP 2:-

Paint the whole pot with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black.
Leave to dry.

STEP 3:-

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, Mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You can sprinkle little talcum powder on hands to avoid sticking.

STEP 4:-

To make rose flowers, take little Shilpkar dough and press it to make flat round petal. Make 12 petals.
Take one petal and roll to form a rose bud. Attach two more petals to the bud and shape it as a rose flower. Make total 4 rose flowers.
Stick the flowers on the pot using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.

STEP 5:-

To make leaves, take Shilpkar dough and roll it flat using rolling pin.
Allow to semi-set. (it should take 6-8 minutes).
Cut 18 – 20 leaves of different sizes.
Mark the veins in the leaves using paper cutter.
Stick the leaves on the pot using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.

STEP 6:-

Roll shilpkar dough in thin long coils.
Take two coils and twist them.
Stick the twisted coils on the top and bottom of the pot. Refer picture.
Leave to harden.

STEP 7:-

Paint the roses with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Pink.
Mix Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Sap Green and White. Paint the leaves with it.
Paint the twisted coils with Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold.
Leave to dry.

STEP 8:-

Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole pot to get a glossy finish.

Fevicryl Shilpkar- 2packs Fevicryl Acrylic Colours- Sap Green 21, Pink 18, White 27, Black 02 Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold 352 Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue Fine Art Brushes Pallet. Terracotta Pot Talcum powder Rolling Pin (belan) Scissors Paper Cutter.
