Here I'm sharing tutorial of pen stand. You have to do the same on photo frame. Take a wooden base of pen stand & paint it all over with Acrylic Colour White. Then divide it into parts.

Paint those divided lines with different colours. Here I painted with Crimson, Green , Yellow and Blue. Let the paint dry completely. After that take a crackle medium. Here I'm using Fevicryl crackle medium.

Squeeze crackle medium onto palette or into cup for easy brush application. Here I've done this directly on the surface. Apply one even coat of crackle medium with firm brush. Do not allow crackle medium to dry completely. Apply one light, even coat of Fevicryl Acrylic colour (contrasting colour) for top coat. Apply top coat in linear, even strokes. Cracks will follow in the direction direction of top coat brush strokes. Avoid over brushing. Let it dry completely.

After drying apply varnish for a clear protective finish. It's very important that your brush is completely dry when applying crackle medium & Fevicryl Acrylic Colour. This is how I got a crackle effect. I hope you all like this DIY. Be creative, Be happy! Thank you!.
