During the summer holidays, when kids are bust with comics, here’s a quick DIY that kids will love to do. Use a few pages from their old comics to decorate a pen stand for their study table.

STEP 1:-

Prime the surface of the wooden pen stand by using Fevicryl Acrylic White paint.

STEP 2:-

Cut out a few pages from an old comic book. I have cut out pieces from my favorite section of the newspaper.

STEP 3:-

Use a brush to evenly spread out Fevicol onto the surface and then paste the papers onto the sides of the wooden stand.

STEP 4:-

Sand the edges using emery paper to give a smooth finish.

STEP 5:-

Use Fevicryl Acrylic black paint to work on the finishing of the stand.

STEP 6:-

You can also use Fevicryl 3D outliner cone-black, to work on the outlines of the sections/strips.

STEP 7:-

Allow the work to dry for a couple of hours. You can additionally put a coat of varnish to seal your work.

you will need

MDF Pencil stand, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White, Black, Fevicryl 3D Outliner- Black, Fine Art brushes, Fevicol MR General Purpose, Emery Paper, Scissor.
