Create faux marble with oven dry clay in a day! Combining three colors of clay with a simple technique will give you beautiful results for these striking votive candle cups you can display in your home or give as gifts.

how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Gather supplies: grey, black and white Oven Bake Clay.
Create 2 bases base white clay; knead clay with fingers, roll out, and cut two ¼” thick circles.

STEP 2:-

Pinch pieces of each color. Knead with fingers to condition.

STEP 3:-

Combine pinched pieces together to form 2 balls of multi-colored clay.

STEP 4:-

Twist balls of clay to create marbled effect.

STEP 5:-

Roll clay into two long strips, 8 inches x 4 inches, and ¼” thick.

Cut clay using a craft knife and ruler.

Form clay around the bases, pressing with fingers to join to the base.

Join the edges together by pressing with fingers and enclose the votive cup(s).

STEP 9:-

Bake clay votives in oven at 250 degrees for 20 minutes to harden.
Insert candles or battery operated votive lights.
