Blooming Buds

Rose buds cluster- indeed a pleasant sight.

how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Wash and dry the pot.
Apply a basecoat on pot using Fevicryl Pearl Colour- Green.
You may apply 2-3 coats of the colour to get even shade.
Leave to dry.

STEP 2:-

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You can sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.

STEP 3:-

To make rose buds, take Shilpkar dough and flatten in to small round shapes. Roll these shapes to form a rose bud. Make 12-15 rose buds. Stick them on the pot using Fevicryl No-Stitch Fabric Glue.
Roll Shilpkar into thin strips and thin coil’s, stick them on the pot below the rose buds. Refer picture.
Leave to harden.

STEP 4:-

Paint the rose buds with Fevicryl Pearl Colour- Cherry red.
Paint the coils and strips with Fevicryl Pearl Colour- Lemon Yellow.
Leave to dry.

STEP 5:-

Apply 2-3 coats of fabric glue on the whole piece to get a glossy finish.
Leave to dry.

Fevicryl Shilpkar- 1pack Fevicryl Pearl Colour- Green 304, Cherry Red 316, Lemon Yellow 302 Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue Fine Art Brushes. Terracotta Pot Talcum powder.
