You Will Need:

Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Pearl - Blue 305, Pearl Metallic – Bronze 355, White 707, Glitter – Navy Blue 414, Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours - Vandyke Brown 237 and Black 202, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette , A3 White Paper, 2 meters of Cotton Fabric (colour of your choice), Yellow Carbon Paper, Tracing Paper, Pencil or Tailoring Chalk, Scissors

Description :

This big blue tree is inspired by GOND ART and is painted using Liquid Embroidery Colours. These colours come in bottles with nozzles that make it easy to use, to make both thick and thin strokes to create your own design.

STEP 1
Draw a quarter of a circle on the paper with an 18” radius You may draw it smaller as per the requirement Trace it on the fabric with the help of yellow carbon paper to form a complete circle You will need about 2 meters of cotton fabric to draw a big circle of this size
STEP 2
Once you trace the circle draw the trunk and the branches using a tailoring chalk The tree trunk and the branches are divided into horizontal sections Draw running stitch pattern with thick lines using Liquid Embroidery Glitter - Navy Blue in the alternate sections Leave it to dry
STEP 3
Draw a running stitch pattern in thick lines using Liquid Embroidery Pearl - Blue in the remaining sections of the branches and the trunk
STEP 4
The pearl blue and navy blue sections are divided by a linear pattern with Liquid Embroidery – White Colour the leaves in a darker shade of brown by mixing Soft Acrylic Colours - Vandyke Brown and Black Let it dry
STEP 5
Outline few leaves with thick lines and few with thick dots using Liquid Embroidery – White The mid ribs of each leaf are drawn with thick dotted lines Leave it to dry Make thick dots with Liquid Embroidery Pearl Metallic - Bronze for the background of the tree. Refer to the main image for the same
STEP 6
The tree trunk is then cut separate from the tree and is then mounted on a piece of ply cut in the size of the tree trunk
STEP 7
Get the painting framed and assemble the frame and the tree trunk to complete the picture to be put up on the wall.
