Artistry Ink Inspired Rakhi

You Will Need:

Artistry Inks - Fall Fiesta, Apricot Nectar, Amazon Trail, Wild Bilberry, Midnight Blue, Wedge Wood Green, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter - Silver 402, Glitter Gold 401, Fevicol MR, Silver Lace, Golden Lace, Pencil, Handmade Paper, Scissors

Description :

A good way to teach kids how to make rakhis at home. This beautiful handmade rakhi with artistry inks will be a treasure for every brother to receive. Make these rakhis and it would just show your love and affection for your sibling.

STEP 1
Take handmade paper, draw 9 circles of 2” inch in diameter.
STEP 2
Cut the circles finely using a pair of scissors.
STEP 3
For the orange flower use Artistry Ink - Fall Fiesta on the two circles, Apricot Nectar on the other two and blend the colours nicely for the petals then use Amazon Trail on one circle for the base.
STEP 4
Similarly, for the blue flower use Wild Bilberry, Midnight Blue and blend these colours to get variants of blue and use Wedge Wood Green on one circle for the base of the rakhi
STEP 5
Cut the flowers in a descending order from the circles for the orange floral rakhi and one big similar shape for the base.
STEP 6
Similarly, for the blue rakhi cut floral shapes from the blue coloured circles in a descending order and one big green for the base.
STEP 7
Outline the blue rakhi petals using Fevicryl 3D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter - Silver 402
STEP 8
Outline the orange floral rakhi petals using Fevicryl 3D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter - Gold 401.

For the blue coloured rakhi arrange the green base and start arranging and sticking shades of blue by giving a slight cut in every layer so that the petals form a conical shape when it reaches the top, to get a proper flower like shape using Fevicol MR. Refer to the image.

Starting with the green coloured base for the orange rakhi start sticking layers in a descending order using Fevicol MR. Refer to the image
STEP 13
Stick the golden lace on the reverse of the orange flower and silver lace on the reverse of the blue flower using Fevicol MR.
