A makeover of this black cotton Kurti to beat the summer ...enhanced its design with soft acrylic colours and 3D cone outliners .

step 1

1- Wash and neatly iron a plain Kurti to remove the starch if any.

step 2

2- Trace the design on it ( place the yellow carbon paper on the kurta and above it place the design for transfer) with a light coloured pen or pencil as the kurta is black.

step 3

3-fix the design in an embroidery ring and paint the female version with beige skin colour ( obtained by mixing orange and white) .paint the male counterpart with brown colour.

step 4

4- define and give detail of the hair and facial features of both the figures with black.

step 5

5- Paint the musical instruments with ochre and pink.Paint the saree and dhoti with blue and yellow respectively.

step 6

6- Use 3D cone outliner colours like orange,yellow,blue,white,black for the body and hair accessories,also highlighted the entire design with these outliners.

step 7

With a 3D black cone outliner outlined the entire design for the finishing touches.

You Will NeedYou Will Need

Plain black Cotton Kurti,Fevicryl soft acrylic fabric colours,3D cone outliners,yellow carbon paper,light coloured pen or pencil,embroidery ring,flat and round brushes,palette,rag,water.
