How To Do it YourselfHow To Do it Yourself

step 1

Select a plain preferably cotton kurta,wash and iron it to remove the starch if any.

step 2

Trace the design using a carbon paper and a bright coloured pen .Fix the design in an embroidery ring and place a cardboard or a thick sheet of newspaper beneath it.

step 3

Paint the body skin colour of the female version with light beige obtained by mixing white with a dash of orange and the male counterpart with black.Paint the saree and the head scarf with blue,the dhoti with yellow and head turban with yellow.Paint the instruments with yellow ochre and pink.

step 4

Paint the hair with black and define the facial features.Use 3D cone outliner colours of white,orange,blue,black,yellow for giving details to all the decorative head,body ornamental accessories and the musical instruments too.

step 5

Also outlined the figures with 3D black outliner for the finishing touch.

You Will NeedYou Will Need

Plain Black cotton Kurta,Fevicryl soft acrylic colours,3D cone outliner colours,carbon paper,bright coloured pen,thick sheet of newspaper or cardboard,flat and round brushes, palette,rag,water bowl.
