This warli inspired tote bag is made using the stamping technique. The stamps are also handmade as per the designs you would want to create

STEP 1

To make the stamps for printing on the bag you will need a recyclable tissue roll

STEP 2

Take an A4 sized white paper and cut it in the size of the tissue roll
Draw a warli style tree design on the paper

STEP 3

Trace the triangular parts of the tree design on the foam sheet and cut them along the outlines

STEP 4

You can stick the tree design paper on the tissue roll with the help of Fevicol MR or you may trace the design directly on the tissue roll.

Stick the foam cut pieces as per the design on the tissue roll using Fevicol MR
Leave it to dry. Your rolling stamp is ready to be used for printing

Take a fabric or a canvas tote bag

Sponge dab Acrylic Colour - Burnt Sienna on the foam pieces and roll it on the bag stamping one tree at a time
Print the tree 3 times on the bag or you may print it as per your design

STEP 8

Add a few linear strokes of 3D Outliner - Burnt Sienna to the tree and the bird to complete the look

You can cut some traingular shapes in the foam sheet to make animal and bird shapes

Stick these shapes on the bottle lids that you can recycle using Fevicol MR
This will give you a proper grip for stamping

Sponge dab Acrylic Colour - Burnt Sienna on the foam pieces and stamp it on the bag to make the animal and bird forms
Add a few linear strokes of 3D Outliner - Burnt Sienna to complete the look

Similarly make the round stamp for another type of tree and stamp it using the same technique
