Craft a beautiful tri-coloured butterfly cap for youself and your friends to celebrate Republic Day. This beautiful tri-coloured cap is made with paper and colours and is simple and easy to make

STEP 1
Tri Colour Butterfly Cap  - Step 1 | Hobbyideas

Take an A3 sized white card paper
Draw a circle with a 6” radius
Cut out the circle and cut a slit half way up to the centre of the circle

STEP 2

Draw some small and big concentric circles on the cut circle leaving 1/3rd part of the circle plain.

Paint the concentric circles in the tri-colour using Rangeela Tempera Colours - White, Green and Orange made by mixing Red and Yellow
Let it dry

STEP 4

Paint the background using Rangeela Paper Glitter - Blue
Leave it to dry

STEP 5

To make the conical cap take the painted circle
Overlap the slits to make a cone shape and stick the ends with Fevicol MR.

STEP 6

Take an A3 sized white card paper
Fold the paper into half and draw the butterfly wings on one side
Cut along the outlines of the butterfly drawn

STEP 7

Paint the butterfly cutout using Rangeela Tempera Colour - Blue
Let it dry

STEP 8

Cut the butterfly from the centre
Outline the butterfly with dots of Paper Glitter – Silver

STEP 9

Make few small and big circles on the wings using Paper Glitter - Silver
Leave it to dry

STEP 10
Tri Colour Butterfly Cap  - Step 10 | Hobbyideas

After drying stick these wings to the conical cap using Fevicol MR
