A simple clay moulded candle holder which, when lit will cast gleaming rays of light through the delicately punched holes.

how to do it yourself

STEP 1

Take shilpkar pack, mix the resin and hardener from the pack. You may sprinkle little talcum powder on hands to avoid sticking.
MIx till you get a even white dough.
Leave the dough aside for 5 minutes.

STEP 2

Take the dough.
Sprinkle little talcum powder on a smooth flat surface.
Roll the dough on the surface using rolling pin.
Shape the edges of the rolled dough as desired.
Punch holes in the dough using pen cap.
Leave to semi harden for about 10 minutes.

STEP 3

Lift the dough, fold it like a cylinder shape and stick it on the round wooden base using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
Join to ends of the dough using the fabric glue.
Leave to completely harden.

STEP 4

Paint the candle holder and the base using Fevicryl Pearl Colors.
Leave to dry.
Spray a coat of varnish on it.

Fevicryl Shilpkar 8packs, round wooden base, Fevicryl Pearl Colors- White and Blue, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, spray varnish, rolling pin, pen cap, cutter, talcum powder.
