Make quilled shapes that are to be used in the quilled vase. Check that their dimensions suit the vase to be used as a mould.
Wrap the mold vase in polythene.
Start assembling the shapes that will be used to make the vase on the polythene covered mould vase. This is shown in the photo.
The vase will be made in three parts. The bottom part is shown here.
Make filigree of quilled shapes for use in the central portion of the vase.
Assemble the shapes in three parts- the bottom, the middle and the top.
Remove the bottom part of the quilled vase from the mould.
Remove the middle and top portion of the vase from the mould. Wait till the fevicol used to paste the shapes together has dried up..
Join the three pieces together with fevicol. Wait till it dries.
Give shape to top tip with clips. Add flowers to the centre of the vase.
