STEP 1
Madhubani Lion Painting - Step 1 | Hobbyideas

Take a canvas board measuring 12" X 15" in size. Draw a lion and a border design in the Madhubani style of painting on an A4 sized white paper. Trace the design on the canvas board with the help of a carbon paper.

STEP 2

Outline the design using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Black 02. Also add the details of the flowers, leaves and the lion with black.

STEP 3
Madhubani Lion Painting - Step 3 | Hobbyideas

Paint the border and the mouth of the lion in Acrylic Colour - Crimson. Paint only the face of the lion using Acrylic Colour - Golden Yellow. Paint the background in a shade of blue made by mixing Acrylic Colour - Cerulean Blue and White. Leave it to dry.
