how to do it yourself

STEP 1

Take a medium sized glass bowl.
Clean it properly and place it inverted on the work surface

STEP 2

Take Shilpkar and mix the resin base and hardener thoroughly to make an even white dough
Leave the dough open for 5 minutes
Roll the dough into medium coils of about 5mm thick
Stick the coil on the open edge of the bowl and in the centre as shown in the image

STEP 3

Make small balls of Shilpkar dough and pinch them in your fingers to make flat disks
Stick them on the sides and in the centre of the base of the bowl for the dots on the beetle's body

STEP 4

Roll a thick coil in an oval shape for the face of the beetle and small balls of clay for the eyes
Stick the face and the eyes on the bowl

STEP 5

Colour all the parts modeled in Shilpkar in Acrylic Colour - Black
Leave it to dry

STEP 6

Colour the bowl in Water Base - Glass Colour - Red
