Apply terracotta primer on the plywood. Leave to dry.
Rub it with sand paper and smoothen it.
Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.
Draw the placement of the wooden planks on the plywood.
Apply Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue in that area and spread a thick layer of shilpkar dough.
Mark the wooden grain lines using paper cutter.
Leave to harden
Draw the placement of faces on the wooden planks.
Apply Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue in that area and spread shilpkar dough.
Shape it as lady’s face with dupatta. Shape the eyes, nose, lips, hairs etc.
To make jewellery, take shilpkar dough and shape it as thick/ thin coils.
Stick the coil as jewellery using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
To show ropes, take shilpkar dough and roll it in thin ling coil.
Take two coils and twist them with each other to form a twisted coil.
Stick twisted coil as ropes using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
Leave to harden.
Paint the terracotta layered plywood using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black.
Paint the wooden planks and using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Dark Brown, White and Black.
Paint the faces using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Crimson, Lemon Yellow, Orange, Black, Dark Brown, White, Sap Green and Golden Yellow. Refer picture.
You may create shades of your choice by mixing two acrylic colours.
Leave to dry.
Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
