Take the desired butterfly drawing from any magazine or from the net.
Take the OHP sheet and keep it on the Butterfly design sheet.
Use paper clips to fix.
Use 3D Outliner Silver and trace the butterfly design on the OHP sheet.
Leave to dry.
Fill the butterfly design with Glass Colours – Solvent Based – Turquoise blue, Tomato Red, Dark green, Lemon Yellow, etc.
Refer the Fevicryl Glass Colours box for usage instruction
Cut the Butterfly once its dry
To make the body of the butterfly take Shilpkar
Mix resin base and hardner evenly to form an even dough
You can sprinkle little talcum powder on your hand to avoid sticking
Shape the dough in a body of the butterfly by rolling it in a elongated drop shape
Stick the body on the OHP butterfly with N0 Stitch Fabric Glue
Take paper cutter and mark lines on the butterfly body, make a deeper grove to distinguish the head from the body.
Use toothpick to make depression for eyes.
Leave it to harden
Paint the butterfly body with Pearl Metallic Bronze.
Stick double sided foam tape on back side of butterfly. Then stick it on the card.
Draw butterfly antennas with black pen
Repeat same procedure for second butterfly
TIP: You can also make butterfly fridge magnet like this , stick small magnet piece on back side of butterfly.
You can also use Fevicryl Glass Colours- Water Based.
