How To Do it Yourself
Take 2 equal size heart shape cardboard. Paste White paper on both sides. First we will start with pictorial message portion of card. For the pictorial message portion, use any old calendar which has a scenic view. Cut it into heart shape and paste in on one side of cardboard.
Using Paper quilling technique, make a boy and girl, clouds, grasses and flowers. i have used 5mm paper to make these objects. I have stucked it on scenic paper cutting
Take red anchor thread, dip it in a mixture of glue and water, and den place it on the cardboard as Love. I have stuck tiny red quilling heart at start and end of thread.
Take colourful 10 mm strip of paper, make tight coils using quilling needle and stick it around both the heart pieces. Make sure the colour sequence in same on both hearts as final step would be to place them above each other. Pictorial part is ready, now we begin with the top part.
Cut a pink colour paper in heart shape smaller than the cardboard piece. Stick it in the centre of cardboard piece. Paste some glue in the border of small heart and take a 10 mm strip of paper and border it. Using again 10 mm strip of paper in pink and white colour, make loose coils and place it between the tight coils and white border. I have placed pink on one side and white on other. You can use your own combination. Write a message on pink heart which is stuck in centre. I have also placed 2 quilled heart on the message.
Final step, place both heart one above the other. at the bottom coil of the heart, insert a pin and bend it from other side to lock it. as seen on green coil in image. This will help to slide the card. And with this beautiful card is ready for your valentine.
