Breezy floral saree
How To Do it Yourself
Sketch a floral pattern on a A4 sheet.
Trace the pattern on the saree at a equal distance of 7 inches apart using a yellow carbon. the same pattern in a larger size to fit on the Pallu.
Load the flat brush with Chrome yellow Soft Acrylic and apply on one petal of the flower.
Before this dries, load the brush with Deep Bril Purple SA (no 254) and blend it with the previous coat of chrome yellow. Repeat the same technique for the other petals as well.
For the Leaves load the brush with Light green SA (no 212) and fill the leaves. Before this dries, load the brush with Lemon Yellow and blend it with the previous coat of light green. Repeat the same with the other leaves as well.
Paint the stamens using a round brush (no 2, S412) with Chrome Yellow SA. Squeeze a big drop of Fabric Glue on the flower to give a dew drop effect as it dries.
Fill the area around the floral pattern on the Pallu with a diluted mixture of White, Black and Sap Green using a flat brush giving an enhanced effect of the pattern.
This painting does not require ironing as soft acrylic is RTC (Room Temperature Curing). Enjoy the summer with a pretty cool floral summer saree.
