Mixed media art using leftover nail polishes on paper. This is used as a base for the artwork. Textures are created on top of it using acrylic paints. Finally handmade flowers are stuck to give it more dimension.

step 1

Mixed Media Art using Leftover Nailpolishes

Take a basin with water. Pour nail polish here and there and stir using tooth pick. Place watercolour paper onto it so that all the colour gets transferred onto the paper. This forms the base of our artwork. Allow it to dry and paste it onto a cardboard.

step 2

Mixed Media Art using Leftover Nailpolishes

Place white thread randomly to create textures. Create more textures using white and olive green acrylic paints using pallete knife.

Use bottle cap and backside of pencil to create stamping effect. I have used pearl black paint.

Fill the insides of circles with desired colours to give it more dimension.

Stick handmade flowers and pearl string. Mixed media art is ready for framing and hanging
