I had 2 vaseline bottles and one talcum powder boxes empty. So I thought of remembering my childhood memories again and make something best out of waste which turned out to be a utility things.
How To Do it Yourself
Take the empty bottles of vaseline and talcum. ( You can use what ever is available.)
Take a cutter and cut the 1/4 portion of all the bottles from top.
Make them like these.
Now paint the all 3 bottles in 3 different Fevicryl colors.
I use Red , green and yellow colors. Paint them well and keep them aside to get it dry.
Take pistachi shells and place on top and bottom of red color bottle with Fevicryl glue.
Now color the shells with fevicryl golden pearl metallic color. It gives a very shiny look to the shells. Let it get dry.
Now paste old rakhis and it's left over pieces the way you want them to place.
Now for green bottlle take quilling stirps and old rakhis.
Now I make leafy shape from quilling strips. Place them on the bottle and paste a rakhi in centre and on top take a rakhi with thread and wrap like a band. and it's ready.
On last bottle I did mirror work o top and bottom. Make a outline of mirrors with fevicryl liquid embroidery. Now paste some quilling made pieces on it.
All three pieces are ready. use them as pen holder, comb holder or brush holder.
